Program Fees

“Program Fees” means additional amounts charged to students in select singular degree programs within colleges, schools, or departments, including honors colleges or programs, that do not fit into the tiered college fee structure.

Additional Information

Only graduate and professional programs can submit proposals for program fees (PF). Pending approval of the Arizona Board of Regents and the University of Arizona preliminary review, proposals for new PF or changes to existing ones need to be submitted to us no later than May 1, 2024, for consideration. Fees approved at the next Fall meeting will take effect in Summer 2025, Fall 2025, or Spring 2026. Any term before the previously mentioned are no longer available for fee implementation.

*Beginning with FY25, ABOR meets in November of each year to approve tuition and academic fees for the next academic year, including new or exceeding the allotted growth rate.
