“Class Fees”/ course fees mean additional charges for specific classes or courses that have demonstrably higher costs of delivering instruction overall because of the need for or use of special equipment, supplies, technology, key personnel expenses, field trips, or other costs approved by the board. Class Fees/Course Fees are subject to the Expenditure Based Administrative Service charge which is assessed on all expenditures, for more details visit the Financial Policies page.

Information for Course Fee Proposals
The University of Arizona is transitioning to a new undergraduate college fee model to meet the ABOR FY25 policy requirements. All course fees will be eliminated and rolled into this new model beginning with Fall 2024.
